great timing

in the past couple of days, i have come across a few job opportunities that seemed perfect for me. i met all or most of the requirements, the duties seemed interesting and challenging, and the starting salary was good.

and i can't apply for any of them. i can't imagine walking into an interview 6.5 months pregnant and really expecting a call-back.

ha ha.

besides, i need medical and maternity leave benefits that i certainly wouldn't have starting at a new job.

where were these jobs when i was actively looking for a job months ago, before i got all 'in the family way' and could actually act on it?

then again, i guess if they were really meant for me, they'd be for me regardless of the circumstances.

yeah i'll look at it that way. makes me feel better.
