a.m. griping from the office

it never fails.

this guy at work ALWAYS sends me an email asking me to do something or other. and not 10 seconds later, comes to my desk to ask if i got his email.

YES!!!! OK??????????????????????

YES, I GOT YOUR EMAIL!!!!!!!!

you JUST sent it less than a minute ago!! WHERE ELSE WOULD IT HAVE GONE?!?!?!?!?!

WHY even bother sending me an email request if you're going to annoy me by IMMEDIATELY following the email request with a personal visit?!?!?!

isn't one convenience of electronic mail the fact that it can eliminate having to travel to someone in person??!?


i promise you, he does this EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't even bother responding to his emails anymore because i know that as soon as it pops up in my Outlook inbox, all i have to do is look up 10 seconds later and see him sauntering down the hall to REITERATE VERBATIM everything he JUST asked me in the email!

it is SOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!! (IF YOU COULDN'T ALREADY TELL BY ALL THE CAPITAL LETTERS and exclamation points).

my entire body cringes every time i hear those5 irritating words:

"did you get my email?"

one day, i'm going to respond with a roar. literally...i'm going to roar like a lion.
