fatty

i ate TWO veggie burgers last night. back to back.

i am gross.

funny thing is, i don't feel all that ashamed. maybe only a little, and i'd never tell anyone i ate that much in one sitting. i'm not even telling you guys. (you're imagining this right now....)

but i can't even promise it won't happen again. tee hee. hey i was starving and i worked until 7pm last night. i had every right to chow down in such a fantastic way.

i'm also craving honey bbq wings from KFC. what is up with me and the chicken?! i refuse to give in, but man...i fantasize about licking chickeny bbq sauce off my fingers. i wonder if i could forgive myself for that...probably not.

everyone in my life is such a peer-pressurer, telling me to give in and just eat the chicken (LOL). it's like they're giving me a free pregnancy pass to act a fool and eat like it's the day before i head to the gas chamber. i refuse to gain 65 lbs between now and October. it ain't gonna happen, so no free passes for this here dragonfly.

on another note, i need a vacation. my desire to run away from home has never left me. i imagine me on the sands of some far away shore, hearing a language spoken that i can only dream of understanding one day, feeling the sun kissing my shoulders, living the good life - even for only a few weeks.

sadly, i don't think that's gonna be feasible any time soon. we shall see.

on another another note, Resurrection Sunday is coming up! i'm so excited - i think i love celebrating the Resurrection more than i do Christmas. Resurrection Sunday service is always the best. my church does a sunrise 6am service (in addition to the other regular service times later in the morning/afternoon). i hope i can drag myself out of bed to attend the sunrise one.

there's something so awesome about worshipping that early in the morning. of course, one can worship any time of day or night, but for me, i feel something powerful happen when we come together as the sun rises to worship our Lord and celebrate the day God raised Jesus from the dead. i'm super excited about it. i may have bags under my eyes and look a mess, but i'll try to be there praising God at 6am, dark circles and all.

i miss swimming. i haven't been in i don't even know how long. i wonder if i'll be brave enough to wear a bathing suit with a belly. i see other women do it, and i think it's beautiful. i'm picturing me looking like a whale however. i dunno if i've got the guts. any of you all have a private pool you'd like to invite me to come use every day? :-D
