thursday morning laughs

in a recent road rage survey, DC has been ranked "5th Rudest" metropolitan area in the nation.

hilarious quotes that have caused me to die of laughter in the last 24hrs:

**yesterday, my sister, a second grade teacher, asked her students if they know what "racism" means as they were discussing something in their social studies books. one little boy raises his hand and answers, "racism is when two people race each other."

**apparently a city in Texas is being tormented by "crazy raspberry ants" that are invading homes and yards, destroying electrical equipment, and are super-resilient to powerful pesticides. now of course, that is hardly anything to laugh at and i sympathize with the mess these little critters are causing. but the greatest line in the article reads, "And when you do kill these ants, the survivors turn it to their advantage: They pile up the dead, sometimes using them as a bridge to cross surfaces treated with pesticide."

LOL for some reason, i found that EXTREMELY funny! HA! and...HA.


**on the subway this morning, a lady had a cute little baby boy, no more than 12-13 months old, in a stroller that nearby women were oohing and aahing over. and the little boy seemed mesmerized by all the pretty ladies talking to him - one lady in particular, the little cutie was fixated on. and his mother says, "yeah...i can see i'm going to have to take him to church, because he's already a little too into the ladies..."
