i wish...

* that it would rain all week, like it is today (i like rain)

* that i had already done my taxes so that i can get this monkey off my back

* that i was anywhere else but here (work)

* that this phone would stop ringing

* that i had more evenings like yesterday evening

* that someone would clean my desk off for me

* that people didn't take me for granted so much

* that i hadn't actually just weighed some sunflower seeds and raisins on the postage scale

* that i could hide in an empty office and do my crossword puzzle that is beckoning me

* that i hadn't gotten an invitation to a gathering that i don't want to go to and now have to find an excuse to not go

* that this year wasn't flying by at warp speed (did you know that it is April?? APRIL!!)

* that i was curled up in a blanket with my kitty babies purring all in my ear

* that i could actually foresee an exotic vacation in my near future

* that this woman would get off the phone so i could ask her a question

* that i could hold a newborn baby right now (was watching 'Deliver Me' episodes yesterday -
great show!)

* that i had gotten all my errands done over the weekend so i didn't have to finish them today

* that i had a passion for something like everyone else seems to have

* that it were friday

* that white shirts didn't start to look dingy after only wearing them for 4 hours

* that i didn't go to bed at 3am last night
