sweet dreams, parte dos

ok, so i'm remembering fuzzy aspects of my waterfall dream that don't quite make sense but it's worth sharing, since it was a part of the same dream.

after the ordeal with the 'friend' in the building and being unable to show her the waterfalls through the windows, i ventured outside alone (perhaps the see the waterfalls up close?) *to clarify - i call him/her a friend because out of all the people in the background, he/or she was the only one i chose to try to show the waterfalls to - i don't even really know if it was a male or female for sure. for some reason i feel like it was a woman - but again, no one had faces. and even though i strongly remember the sense of urgency i felt in trying to show this person the view of the waterfalls from the windows, i don't think we ever spoke a word to each other.

anyway, when i got to the mountain where the waterfalls were, just as there had been lots of people milling around (but not really talking to me or anyone else) INside the building, there were lots of people milling around OUTside the building as well.

**a little about this 'mountain': i'm calling it a mountain because it was large, but i guess it could be considered a large hillside. i specifically remember the side of the hill/mountain being stony, speckled with large boulders. BUT there was a lot of greenery interspersed in the stones - grass, small shrubs, etc.

anyway, when i got to the foot of the mountain/hill, i was alarmed to find that it was snowy and icy - sort of like the large sheet of ice in an ice skating rink, but add a little snow to it. it was alarming because from the window and from the looks of the hillside, the greenery, and the flowing water, it seemed as if it would be somewhat tropical or spring-like around the mountain. but certainly not snowy. the ice and snow at the foot of the mountain was a total contrast to the bright blue of the waterfalls and the green plant life growing amidst the stones.

not only was it snowy and icy at the foot of the mountains, but there wasn't really any logical place for the waterfalls to empty into. whenever you look at locations that have waterfalls, there's always a large body of water at the bottom where the waterfall spills into. in this dream, there wasn't - it was snow and ice.

this was also weird because snow and ice are usually seen at the top of a mountain, not the bottom.

and not only was there snow and ice, but there were people there, sliding around on and seeming like they were playing on the ice - almost like they were bobsledding, but without bobsleds. and they had ropes tied around their waists to secure them as they slipped and slid all over the icy domain. again, just like the people inside the building, i don't think these individuals had faces. but i do remember talking to them - or rather they began to speak to me first. they were telling me to come join them in their play, while they were laughing and sliding around on the ice and snow.

but i backed away, feeling afraid, not feeling as if it were a safe situation. after all, we were up high. and i remember peeking over the edge of the mountain and seeing how far down below the earth was. and seeing them sliding willy-nilly all around on the ice with nothing to secure them but ropes tied around their waists (and tied to what?? i have no idea what the other end of the rope was tied to or what was securing them), looked dangerous to me. so i said no, and i went back inside.

that's pretty much all i remember...i think there were a few other fuzzy details but i don't really recall much about them or where they fit in.

wow... a lot to think about (and pray about).
