tonight!

a total lunar eclipse is occurring tonight, visible from the Americas at 9:01pm EST tonight, and visible from Western Europe and Africa just before dawn Thursday morning.

i really really hope the clouds part so we can actually see it! it's been cloudy all day and we've had snow flurries. i'm trying not to get my hopes up because weather may keep us from viewing it, but i love eclipses. they are so beautiful! hey, i told you i was a wanna-be astronomy nerd back in the day.
