so two nights ago, i'm leaving a store and this is the conversation i stumbled into:

Random Man (RM): "wow...you have a beautiful complexion...you must be from the Caribbean somewhere."

(psssh, i WISH i was from the Caribbean...then i'd have some hookups there for vacations)

DflySoul: "thank you! but no...i'm from here."

RM: "really? you're from DC...?"

Dflysoul: "yup! born in DC...lived in MD most of my life."

RM: "wow...and you have all your teeth?!"


*crickets*


UM....WHAT??

so apparently women from DC aren't known for dental hygiene? what is that all about? everyone i know has all their teeth...why was that a shock to him? he was serious too...

i love people. they never ever fail to bring me laughter when i need it most.
