one of these days

aside from the obvious get married and have kids, and generally travel, some things i'd like to do one day are:

1) milk a cow (even though i don't drink milk)

2) visit a farm and play with and feed lambs, piglets, baby goats (maybe i can milk that cow while i'm there)

3) spend a month in another country (in Africa or South/Central America preferably)

4) write a book

5) sing onstage somewhere (oh, the fear...!!!)

6) go on a cruise with some really cool women (too bad i have no girlfriends...) :-(

7) ride a horse

8) bake a loaf of bread from scratch

9) host a big theme party for some occasion (birthday, anniversary)

10) have a decent sized house where i can paint every room a different color and decorate in different cultural themes (prob after the hubby and kids come along)

11) grow my own vegetable and herb garden (at said house above)

12) learn to play the guitar that's been collecting dust in my room

13) learn to play the piano

14) fly in a helicopter

15) take swimming lessons (i can swim but not great at it)

16) swim with a dolphin

17) learn Portuguese fluently (i've studied it some, but still don't know it as well as i'd like to)

18) go skiing!

19) spend a weekend in a country log cabin in Maine or Vermont

20) go snorkeling

21) get braces (my teeth aren't as straight as i'd like them to be - but i don't wanna have a metal mouth in my wedding pics)

22) run a marathon

23) learn about the stock market - then invest in some stock

24) make out with someone in the pouring rain

25) be in a tv commercial

26) act in a stage play
