heard some good news today - someone else's good news.

while i admit feeling pangs of envy and a little glumness, i'm thankful to God for giving me the strength to truly be happy for and congratulate her, and to share in her excitement. only God could make you sincerely rejoice, even when underneath that joy is a layer of sadness.
