make "love" a verb

find someone in your life today who you know really loves you and cares for you. you know they love and care for you because of the things they do, the things they don't do, the words they say and the heart that they show you.

when you find that person, love them like a verb today. bring them flowers for no reason. hand-make them a card just to say "i love you." make them a meal or offer to take them out for one. or simply walk up to them, squeeze them tight, look them in the eyes and tell them you love them.

and if you can't be near them physically, call them and say you love them.

the people in our lives who actually do a good job at loving us need to be rewarded and loved back. because there are too many people who don't love us the way they should, the way we want or need them to, or they way they say they do.

today, i'm mourning the lack of love from some and simultaneously celebrating the abundance of the demonstration of love from others. though it hurts to mourn for sure, the joy of those whose warmth and love surround me certainly takes away the bite.

and i'm counting it all joy (James 1:2)
