Dragonfly: Lady Cagefighter

last night, i discovered something:

i, Dragonfly, actually ENJOY watching WEC (World Extreme Cagefighting) and UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship)!!!

the UFC show is a reality show where ultimate fighters are living in a house together and competing against each other. the show is intriguing and hilarious. it's like the Real World of ultimate fighters.

i was watching it and WEC with my amigo on the phone, as he explained the rules of fighting, the intricacies of technique, and the histories of some of the fighters. it was quite titillating! we were on the phone for 3 hours watching and talking, talking and watching.

this was WAY better than boxing. i've seen maybe one or two boxing matches that were at most "interesting" but boxing has always been rather boring to me (as most sports are). but extreme fighting, cagefighting, mixed martial arts, etc. - i could get into this stuff!!

shoot...watching all of that made ME want to be an ultimate fighter. if you could promise me i wouldn't get my teeth knocked out, i'd sign up for a class. i took Tae Kwon Do in high school and LOVED it (yeah Dfly got some belts! LOL) i think i may explore the idea of getting into martial arts again.

Dfly ain't as young as she used to be though...
