my sister asked me the funniest question the other day. my musings below provide a glimpse of the conversation between my sister and i:

her question: if i got struck by lightning on my wedding day, would i take that as a sign that i shouldn't marry this person?

first of all: LOL X Infinity. things like that are further evidence that she and i sprung forth from the same womb.

secondly: i think if i got struck by lightning on the day of my wedding, i'd have a few more concerns other than the wedding itself. and clearly, being hospitalized and/or dead from lightning will almost always result in a wedding postponement.

thirdly: after i recovered, i certainly would question why the Lord allowed that to happen on that day. IF in fact He was trying to get my attention regarding my future spouse, i would first ask, "really God??? lightning was the only way to speak, huh? a simple word wouldn't have done it?" (my sister's response to that was maybe God had tried to get my attention in other ways but i wasn't listening. so He resorted to the lightning. LOL)
