...i've officially seen it all when i've seen a woman breastfeed her daughter on a crowded subway during morning rush-hour.

* and just as a disclaimer, before members of La Leche League send me an email or something, i think breastfeeding is one of the most beautiful, natural, intimate and precious experiences a mother and child can share. i have watched women in my own life breastfeed without feeling a lick embarrassment or discomfort. it's just not something i'd necessarily prefer to witness a total stranger do at 8 something in the morning on my may to work. and it is my personal opinion that nursing moms should respect that not everyone around them may be comfortable with witnessing such an intimate moment between her and her child. i mean, think of the poor 70 year old conservative man who spins around and catches a glimpse of "nature"...i think he may have an issue or two with that.
