longing for Heaven

if God said enough was enough, the trumpets sounded at this moment, and the world as we know it was over - oh what joy i'd feel. i'd be so thankful that it's all finally over, and i can see His face that i've been waiting and longing to see. i'm ready.

even with all of life's glories, every day i'm reminded that this really isn't my home and that i don't belong here.
