stupid gophers

guess who popped back on the scene?

after being MIA for about a week, he called me at work on tuesday. he claims he got really sick and couldn't return to work but is better and is in the process of working elsewhere. told me how much he missed seeing me everyday and wanted to try to get together soon. told me a bunch of stuff about how i am what he has envisioned as the perfect woman for him and how much he enjoys being around me. he even said he was contemplating coming up to my building to see me.

yeah. ok.

it all went in one of my ears and directly out the other...i'm not even flattered. he talks a good game, but that's all it is: game.

the proof is that after all that "missing you" talk, i was leaving the office and had to hang up, so he said he would call me at home cuz he wanted to talk more. well, it is now thursday and i still haven't heard from him since then (since the call to my job tuesday afternoon).

i'm sure in another week or so, he'll remember me and resurface again. it's funny how one's mouth can say one thing and one's actions show something totally contrary. why do i even care?
i honestly don't anymore. i was bothered at first, but i have to keep telling myself to stop buggin cuz it's not like this dude is some good catch anyway.
