can we just let Bo live?

why are entire articles being written on the origins of the so-called "Obama Dog"?

folks are really trying to look for a fight aren't they?

people are all up in arms about Pres. Obama supposedly "breaking a promise" to get his daughters a rescue dog from a shelter. and now supposedly the dog they chose came from a breeder.

folks are really using this "broken promise" about the dog as a way of saying no one can trust in any of his administration promises either. i mean, afterall, if you say you're gonna get a shelter pup, but then you don't....you're a huge liar who can't be trusted from here on out.

i can tell you one way or another, i couldn't care less where the dog came from or for that matter, that they even HAVE a dog in the first place, if i may be honest. i never cared about any other Presidents' pets, and i'm not about to start now with President Obama's dog. their having a dog is doing nothing to make or break his administration. neither does the fact that the dog did or did not come from a shelter.

but even still, perhaps they ended up not getting a dog from a shelter because of other issues that came up that really aren't necessary to pick apart and explain. maybe there were circumstances that led them in another direction with choosing their dog.

either way, mind your business and get over it.

at the end of the day, why is the President being criticized over where he got this darned dog???

if you don't like Pres. Obama -great! if you don't agree with his politics - great! pick apart his stimulus plans. throw stones at the man over his stances on stem cell research and abortion. but let's find another dead horse to beat besides this dog stuff. i mean really, where the family got their dog doesn't better or worsen my life...and it doesn't affect yours either.

so why is this news?

the same way i'm tired of watching news programs that analyze why Michelle Obama wears sleeveless dresses so often. or what designer makes her clothes...

if worrying about a dress and a dog are your biggest problems in life, i envy you....badly.

one day, i'm going to produce and host a show called "WHO CARES?!?!"

i hope you guys will watch.

(for what it's worth though, i find the pup to be awfully cute. but that's pretty much all the care you're gonna get out of me.)
