happy valentine's day!

well, it's tomorrow but you get the idea. i hope you all take the time to tell and show your spouses, children, significant others, parents, friends, whomever that you love them. of course, this can and should be done throughout the year but i say take advantage of the "holiday" and do it then too. :-)

i like valentine's day. it kinda blows when you're single and i can't remember the last time i had a real valentine, but there's something so sweet about the day. of course people go overboard with it - i don't think you have to spend tons of money on disgusting boxed chocolates, cheap stuffed animals or even expensive jewelry.

the greatest romantic evening can be spent cuddled up with your hunny (or kids or parents or whomever you like to cuddle with) with some take-out food on the sofa watching movies On Demand. :-)

my v-day should be rather...interesting. i'll leave it at that lol.

p.s. i realize just how quickly annoyed by people i can become. i was talking with this guy about today being Friday the 13th and all...i can't believe so many people are into that (like him). superstitious people annoy me. how in the world can a number 13 dictate how your day is going to be? the fact that some buildings won't name a 13th floor, or airlines won't have a 13th row is so incredibly stupid to me. a number in and of itself cannot control your destiny. get over it.

i need more tolerance for people, i know....you don't have to say it.

anyway, enjoy your friday the 13th and your saturday the 14th! :-)
