it's so funny how peanut butter is a very american thing. other countries haven't embraced it like we do.

this girl i used to work with, who is Russian, said when she first came to the US and discovered peanut butter, she thought it was the weirdest most disgusting food ever.

that's so funny and interesting to me. i love differences in cultures and how things that seem so common and "normal" to some are outrageous to others. it's fascinating.

when i sell all my stuff, run away from home and trek the globe for awhile, i'll be sure to blog about all the "weird" things i find in other parts of the world.

in any case, Skippy sure is hitting a sweet spot right about now.
