betrayed

maaaan, i've been waiting to dig into this nectarine all day.

i finally get around to it and it SUCKS. it's all dry, bitter and fuzzy-feeling inside.

fruit can really play games sometimes. looks all bright on the outside, smells good, feels like it's fresh and ripe...

...then you bite into it and it ruins your whole life.

this mess is expensive - at these prices every single piece of fruit i buy had BETTER be tasting like it came straight from Eden.

now i'm thinking about that whole bag of nectarines in my fridge and wondering if this one loser was a fluke or if the rest will follow suit.

ugh. maybe this orange will make it up to me.
