i just wanna...

...lay in a porch swing during a rainstorm... wrap a blanket around me and watch black and white movies all afternoon...hold hands and stroll around the lake....sit on the lake's edge and watch turtles peek their heads out of the water....pick a lotus flower and put it in my hair....eat a lot of ice cream and not feel guilty...curl up under the covers because the ice cream made me cold...watch the sunrise and enjoy being the only one awake...hum with the birds as they begin their morning work...dig my feet in the burning sands of some beach...marvel at the sunset on a thatched roof in Mozambique...cradle a newborn baby in Ethiopia....hug and laugh with a child in Peru...hike through the rain forests of Puerto Rico...lay in the dark with a close friend and talk about our dreams until we fall asleep...steal away to an island without telling anyone...sip ginger tea by a crackling fire...dance in a field of daisies under the blue skies...pick fresh vegetables on a farm....climb a tree and pick cherries and oranges...snorkel with silver and blue fish...watch my belly grow with Life...stroke my belly full of Life...cry in pain as i labor for Life...kiss the Life that now rests in my arms....sit on a bench and ask someone their story...spill my guts as they listen to mine....sing as loudly as my voice can go on a stage...kneel under the clouds and talk to my Lord...drip with sweat as i run through the mountains....take a picture of a rainbow....lay on the lawn and gaze at the bright, full moon....feel the flutter of a butterfly's wings on my cheek.
